Kigumi Speaking in AI & Humanity Webinar Series 2026

We’re excited to be one organisation speaking as part of this free lecture series for educators organised by SEAMEO-SEPS and supported by UNESCO, UN ESCAP and others.

For those of you who aren’t from the ASEAN region, SEAMEO-SEPS is one of 26 regional centers of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), the coordinating body of all of the ministries of education across the ASEAN region.

This lecture series, launching on 30 September with the first of 5 lectures (Kigumi will be speaking in session #4, “Knowledge Co-Creation in the Era of AI” in November), is entirely free and aimed at educators who want to understand more about ethical AI in the context of education and human development.

About the Lecture Series: A Focus on AI, Ethics, Governance, and Education

This five–session webinar series will bring together distinguished resource persons from academia, international organizations, government sector, civil society, corporate sector, social entrepreneurship, and youth leadership. Together, participants will critically examine the opportunities and emerging challenges of co-existing with Artificial Intelligence, with the aim of shaping ethical, inclusive, and resilient futures.

Participation is free of charge. Policymakers, administrators, educators, researchers, students, practitioners, and all interested participants are warmly invited to join. Certificates of Participation will be issued to registered participants who complete the post-webinar survey following each session.
