History of the Summit

The Smart City Academy (SCA) is a pivotal force in Hong Kong’s digital transformation, comprising a network of professionals and technology experts dedicated to advising the government on building a world-class smart city. Beyond infrastructure and policy, the SCA has demonstrated a profound commitment to future-proofing the next generation through its leadership of the Kids’ AI Summit.

Launched as a flagship feature of the annual Learning & Teaching Expo (LTE), the Kids’ AI Summit has evolved over the last two years into a premier platform for youth engagement, supported by Hong Kong Education City and the Education Bureau.

Building on this success, the summit is now expanding regionally, with Thailand set to become the second country after South Korea to host this prestigious event.
