Launching our AI Youth Fellowship Programme in Namibia

Last week we onboarded the first 500 undergraduate students from 3 Namibian universities to our AI literacy curriculum on KiguLab in the first phase of the AI Youth Fellowship Programme, our national youth upskilling project with the National Council of Research and Science (NCRST), Ministry of Education, Namibia.

Some have already finished the 12 course curriculum and asked if they can sign up for more courses to keep learning! ❤️

The Programme will train undergraduates from diverse fields like nursing, healthcare, engineering, education and technology in core AI ethics fundamentals, including how to balance their human intelligence with AI capabilities, understanding the limitations of AI systems, and how to think about their own thinking (i.e. develop their own metacognitive skills) to remain in the driver’s seat of their own growth, academically and professionally, in an AI-age.
