Free Family Game: “Memory” with Old-School Tech Devices

Recently we’ve noticed that mechanical - or, slightly “less digital” - pieces of tech are coming back into trend.

So we thought it would be fun to talk to make a family version of the card game Memory using “old time-y” tech devices. There’re old school tech devices like 📼 cassettes, 💿 CDs, and 📟 pagers. I also threw in some tech-adjacent objects like ☎️ phone books.

For those of you who grew up with Richard Scarry’s children’s books, you might remember how he sometimes called old school cars “old time-y cars”. In homage to this, we’ve called our free printouts “Old Timey Tech Memory Game” (subtitle: “For Digital Natives and Their Super Cool Parents”).

Download them on Canva, print them on thick card stock, and play with your family this holiday break.
